Yeah nothing about this touches their best work but damned if they don't know how to make a kick ass fun pop rock album

In retrospect I can see why they would leave "half heart" out as it would slow the overall pace down, but I think "Diamond" should have been placed before "Recommit" instead of "Love Never". Still a very fun album, though.

I still think they should have just dropped 555 as a standalone single with half heart on the b-side. those two songs would work pretty well together and you wouldn't 555 just sticking out on here like the sorest thumb ever and killing the vibe after Delivery (which is the best song on here easy)

I quite enjoyed 555, but yeah, it has a way different sound than the rest of the album. I am going to rejam this today, I really enjoyed it back when it dropped.

Kinda bummed looking at the Lolla setlist that they only played a single song post Chase the Light, but can't say I'm surprised.

Robin adds so much to their sound, his harmonies on Drugs Or Me are next level

I'm pretty sure Zach said on twitter they wanted to do some more Phoenix. I'd imagine they considered BA, CTL and Integrity Blues at the very least, but it's coming up on 3 years since Surviving so they're duty-bound to start a new album around now

I need to check those recordings.

These guys should be primed for a 2022-23 album release I'd think, based on their career trend. Hopefully the pandemic didn't throw them too far off course!

When those Surviving chords enter....

This album has really cemented its own special place in their discography for me.

555 is a nice different styled song for them. Kinda over the top muse-ish BS but whatever

Exciting news. They seem to put out an album every 3 years like clockwork, so hopefully that's a sign of even more music to come.

Is it actually going to be heavier? I just thought it was the name of the song but if there's credible intel of a whole album like the end of 'Congratulations' then I'll flip my lid.

I'd imagine if it's a single for an upcoming album then that may well be the case! The promotional font is full-on glam metal.

Van Weezer was my first thought when I saw the artwork. Not good. But I'll always be excited for new Jimmy regardless.

Song is out in New Zealand. If anyone down that way wants to throw a brother a hand, Iā€™d really appreciate it šŸ˜…
