Anna is like a Menzingers parody song and Farewell Youth is like an uninspired Gaslight Anthem song. the others mentioned can compete i guess (although even the best songs here feel like theyre missing something), but mostly this by-the-numbers, obviously going-through-the-motions record doesnt compete with The Freaks which actually has good guitar work and a distinct mood.
