Only managed to jam a few tracks so far but they seemed pretty good. Ripping Flesh was my favorite of them and it's a rerecording of an old track. Will have to check the rest

It rules. Title track is one of the manliest ever in the history of music.

Man if Exhorder and Tool can finally drop an album, anything can happen! Jokes aside, this kicks major ass. More melodic, but still old-school thrash/groove metal with awesome vocals from Kyle Thomas. Dude ages like a fine wine.

RYM hates this album with a passion lol
It's aight, some fun tracks. Sounds a bit like Exodus with Dukes imo. Lacks the dirt and panache of old school Exhorder, but it's still fun in doses.

pleasantly surprised, I almost gave this a 4. production is fucking solid and vocals sound just as good as they did 30 years ago. insane.

3.4 average hurts my soul.

Something between 3.5 and 3.6 would probably be fairer, but I don't usually give too much importance to the overall average. If you look closely, most albums have a handful of 1's. For example, a deathcore or tech DM album with a 3.5 average actually translates to 3.7/3.8. In this case, I don't honestly think there's a big discrepancy.

Right. I must be impartial with this, I would expect a 3.7-3.8 if I were a betting man. Oh well.

"The Arms of Man" also slays, especially its closure part.

Listen to Slaughter in the Vatican. That's why they're legendary.

Just bumped to 4.5. I still can't fucking believe this is a 3.4 average. Granted they're doing nothing revolutionary, but they're doing exactly what people would expect from Exhorder, and it's a perfect blend of Metallica, Pantera, and Testament. m/ m/ m/ m/
