Mahagma still just annihilates, one of the best examples of something being beautiful while completely destroying your face I have ever heard.

this is really nice but i don't feel the passages with blast beats at all. the sound is fairly soothing and explorative in general so when the TAKTAKTAKTAK comes in i feel like it is doing more to erase the music than accompany it. i enjoy bands like this in general, got really into the whole post/industrial-black scene at the time and I've liked past Blut Aus Nord albums but I know I'd like 'em much better with rock or military drumming. blasting on atmospheric records is just overplaying, it's like the return of late 80s indie where the drummer just does two-hands-on-the-hat all the time and it makes things sound worse

Excellent listening while working at home, this album still grows with each time I turn it on.

new Forhist album this friday apparently. It's from Vindsval and is more like straight bm with those windy leads and subtly similar guitar tone.

yeah i'm excited. i wasn't much into this album but a more straightforward heavy album sounds really nice.

Supposed to be some straight up 90s influences on there too.
