Came to this epiphany today, Southern Sky almost reminds me of Lost in the World in the way it's so dreamy and separates itself from anything sounding quite like it. But Southern Sky is a not necessarily better, but definitely deserves credit for not really expanding beyond the tropes of it's own genre whereas obviously Lost in the World is a unlikely amalgamation of indie folk and hip hop.

I always get excited to see a new Alex G single drop and then I listen and think 'huh this is a real different direction' but it's Alex G so I listen intently, curiously and then I realize it's by some other dude named Alex G I guess and streaming platforms suck and then it disappears entirely. This has happened 2 or 3 times.
