I love metalcore but this is boring af. This is a rehased album with the same mood (wahhhhh I tried to kill my wife pls forgive me) with the same rehased riffs. This would have slapped in 2009 AT BEST.

Honestly the fact that people like this record so much either means that there aren't enough metalcore acts with sick riffs or that they haven't listened to the last 5 AILD albums. They haven't done new sounding shit in years and this doesn't change that at all.

As much as I wasn't a fan of Wovenwar, I think a third Wovenwar album would have been more intresting tbh

Have heard just about all their albums, so it's the former for me if we have to pick. There's plenty of great new metalcore (Crystal Lake fucking slaps, Brand of Sacrifice released one HELL of a banger in the deathcore sphere this year, Imminence came into their own, the list goes on) but for every great band coming out there's another Wage War type of wannabe. Shit, at least when a band like Northlane tunes down damn near the brown note, they now combine it with dope-as-fuck industrial moments.

Also, Only After We've Fallen is totally A Sense of Purpose-era In Flames worship. Fucking rules.

Nothing mindblowing, but pretty solid nonetheless. I actually disagree in the fact that things don't get too similar. The middle of the album seemed to blend a bit together for me.

Yeah Tim sounds awesome on this. The cleans are a bit on a wimpy side in comparison imo

The Wreckage is probably my standout on here.
