I remember being front row at their last show in Los Angeles.



It was a week night, and they didn't come on until 11 PM or so and finished at almost 1 in the morning. The dudes were all super cool though. When they were finished and were packing, I saw a setlist near Alex's feet, and I felt kind of bad for asking, but I yelled his name, and he turned, and I pointed at the setlist near his feet.



He nodded, gave it to me, and then thanked me for coming out and staying so late on a week night. He literally thanked me like 3 times to the point where I had to be like "No, THANK YOU for coming out here to play; I fucking loved every minute of it. Can't wait until you guys come back"



And he just laughed and was like "soon man, soon.. at least I hope soon" haha

That's pretty cool! These guys are very nice. I got the chance to chat with them last year on the phone for an interview for a zine i write for. Very kind and humble.

Not digging it. I like their first four albums but once they did Vertikal, I found them a bit boring.

I'm not really sure what this means, I think you're saying that old users who're no longer commonly present here, may be detached from Sputnik and thus immune to the hype certain releases get. I'm sure that's also possible without taking a sabbatical.
