The Darkness is Revealing is an ok song tho
the mellow jumpiness of the first riff and the poppy dissonance of the verses are niceru

They would have left some tSoS songs for this album, because this is boring and 0 catchy.

The only Korn I havent heard. They just had to release something shortly after my discog run. I really dont want to listen to this but it's making me feel incomplete

I mean it's not Dvorak but it still moderately slaps. If you don't mind modern Korn I'd go for it.

Their last album would probably actually be in my top 3 (at least top 5) of all their shit, so if it goes as ham as that album, I should get on this. Just remember the singles I heard for this being dross, so I stayed away lol

I think there are some solid additions to a Korn fan library, The Darkness Is Revealing for instance.

Just finished up through Idiosyncracy, and I gotta say, this just feels like an unintentional parody of their last album. This has had quite a few really cringy moments so far. Hoping the album improves

Eh the crying bits at the end of both the intro and You'll Never Find Me are pushing it for me too, but musically I don't see how this is any worse than Serenity (if anything I'd say this is actually tighter and a bit quirkier). Their current trilogy is all about on the same level for me and I'd place all three albums about mid-tier in the discography, with Paradigm on top for the most interesting songwriting (aka the one where they try less to please old fans).

I thought this was really good other than the cringey dramatic bits and some really cheesy decisions musically and vocally, but now that I listen to Serenity again, I'm upset this isn't as good as it could have been.

It upsets me that the first four songs on the last album are better than anything off this. This is still good (Jonathan is definitely coming from an honest place on some of this), but fuck man... Not as good as I initially thought.

shit band and has always been shit as well. even their first album, so cringy the just way overblown drama he tries to put into that record is just unbearably cringy to listen to.

ehhh, i think you're a little harsh there. the emooooo screams from jon are cringey as fuck, sure, but at least most of the music in general is m/.

Corn has never been good. Their debut, is cringe worthy and like a baby throwing a tantrum.

Kinda like you are throwing a tantrum right now in a few Korn threads to profess your dislike for the band?
