Like the emotion and passion, but musically it's not very interesting.

another utterly boring and generic album from the guys who haven't put out anything unique since 1998.
|

Issues is way better than Follow the Leader tho.
FtL is half decent and half painful garbage.
|
| |
I enjoyed this somewhat, not as good as their previous album which is easily their best ever

I'm going to let this play at the gym this morning, and just get it out of the way. I mean, I kind of have to listen to this eventually. Nicely written review.

The first three albums is all you really need from these guys, bloc. Band fell off hard on Issues...

Disagree there. I mean, it's obviously not a travesty like Untouchables or Korn III, but it ain't great either.

The debut is far and away their best thing though

Yeah debut was lightning in a bottle

Totally disagree. Issues, Untouchables, and Serenity are my top 3 Korn releases.

I wouldn't call Serenity their best album ever if I hadn't heard those already. Issues is a close second, but the rest I can live without.
Willie, those are in my top 3 as well

Yo Untouchables was peak Korn imo. Not that Issues or Follow the Leader aren't close behind, but Untouchables embodied everything Korn had up until that point and then some. Here to Stay is basically their entire career in one song.

Untouchables was fucking awesome. I miss when they were good.

That track with Fred Durst is hilarious imo - yeah it's cheesy af, but at least it has entertainment value.
Issues to me is the one that has a lot of weak spots, even though it's a fan favorite. I just can't listen to Jonathon Davis scream "WAKE UP, WHAT ARE WE FIGHTING FOR???" and not want to throw my iphone against the fucking wall.
Also yeah, Untouchables is super underrated.
They will never top their first album.
