It's not really a great album musically or in any objective sense, but because it was a formative record for so many people at that time just getting into rock music, it retains a lot of nostalgic and cultural value. I also happen to think it's incredibly fun/catchy.

No sowing i was born in 2003, and that be why i dont care for the album. I guess if you lived through it the nostalgia of it makes it seem better. Im just not a person who likes green day. But i gave it a listen because of how good your review is

I hope some years from now this will be regarded as the classic it is. The duo of "Extraordinary Girl" and "She's a Rebel" is the low point, but I like everything else to some degree.
