I only like one song off this, so I've been patient waiting for any new Toby stuff to wash it away.

New song is sounding real real nice, so cool to him and Massi playing together again

Combining maudlin influences with this sound and PHOBOS should make for some amazing stuff.

"New song is sounding real real nice, so cool to him and Massi playing together again"

When I saw them on the Blasphemy tour, Massi was there at the show. Toby brought him up to perform a couple songs. One from Dowsing, and a Maudlin song that I can't remember specifically.

New album is shaping up to be such an improvement on this last one in every way - from album title, to album art, to leading single, to overall sound/vibe. Not sure wtf Toby and co. were doing with Blasphemy.

The new single still has the production and atmosphere of this, but more drawn out and calm, reminds me a bit of Coffins on Io.

Chorus is super nice in Void in Virgo - song is generally comfy as well.

Can't see it elevating to the heights of Hubardo or Choirs, but Moss Grew is definitely gonna top Blasphemy

A new sort of solo record from Driver recently dropped, follows the vein of They Are the Shield, but under a different name. I just wrote a brief review for it: https://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/83702/Alora-Crucible-Thymiamatascension/

I've been seeing him repost people with the album on Instagram, but didn't really look into it. I shall.

This has its moments but yea Alora Crucible is much better. Really glad that it’s implied he’s gonna continue under that moniker, maybe that’s gonna be the continuation of his solo career.

New Kayo Dot song dropped. "Get Out of the Tower". It's awesome.

Very heavy but not sure if it's leaving as good of an impression as Void in Virgo or The Knight Errant did

This album made me raise an eyebrow... It sounds like an average chill jam session. It's not KD standard at all. It's like the mellower sections of Leprous at full length.

Now some KD albums have grown on me after repeated spins so...

this album actually kinda riffs if you can get over the fact that it's not dissonant

Yeap, this album is pretty cool. I don't get the hate for it and also for the new Imagine Dragons album. At least you all like Thy Catafalque.
