This is actually better than Splendor for me haha.

The Mountain isn't garbage. The horn part is not "odd" or "wailing." It boggles my mind that a "music reviewer" would describe it as such. It's bloody gorgeous. This album is at least a 3 based on the strength of Wintertide alone.

It's their best album.

There is a lot to uncover. Time to let go is too cheesy IMO, besides that I like it a lot. Still might be closer to a 4.0 than 4,5 in the end

Yeah, this review genuinely perplexes me. I'm loving this so far. Perhaps it doesn't have the feeling of being an instant classic like when I first heard Back to Times of Splendor, but it's still *really* good.

Sounds pretty godlike until now.

Registered finally here just to rate this album. This review seems like a troll. The Liberation is mostly amazing and I possibly like it more than their debut. Only the clean vocals throw me off at points. Otherwise it's great from start to finish.
The album IS a sequel, so there are some old riffs and melodies referenced at points... And to me that only makes it a better listen.

I can’t taste much salt in here, in fact for a review with such a low score I expected overwhelming salt levels.

Sin sees salt everywhere. It's a well known projection.
