Yes, I've had my budget pair for over 2 years now and I feel like I've earned an upgrade lol

My suggestion is to avoid NC headphones altogether and use your T3 Plus for outdoor listening. Get yourself a high quality pair of audiophile headphones for indoor usage instead. I can recommend you a few in private if you want, according to your budget and sound/build preferences.

Cool, do it. I fly quite a bit for work which is the main reason why I got Nc in the first place. Plus daily long daily trips to my place of work at my duty station. I am willing to listen to recs though!

Starting to think that Beats is not a great headphone company. Had two pairs and both had shitty static audio quality

"Starting to think that Beats is not a great headphone company. Had two pairs and both had shitty static audio quality"
Probably the worst audio company when it comes to hype-quality ratio.
Jump into the audiophile realm the right way. I will always recommend Sennheiser for such a journey. The HD650 or even the HD598 (they lack bass but their sound is incredible for an entry-level hp) are great places to start. Be careful though, audiophilia is a rabbit hole and I have spent more money than I should've. I settled with my Gjallarhorn JM edition 2 years ago, which are crazy expensive, not the most technical or balanced hp but the ones which have given me the best musical experience by a wide margin. In the mid-range I really liked the Shure 1540 and the IBasso SR2, although pretty much anything by Sennheiser is good to go.

Here's my list ranking headphones manufacturers. Ever since then my taste matured a bit, now I believe Audeze and Monoprice make the best-sounding headphones in the world, but their products are not portable at all.
For personal reasons, I've intentionally avoided to mention a few well known brands like ZMF, JBL, Beats by Dre.

Now I want to see that drum vid again.
There's something mindblowing about watching good drummers. The world wants an entire show only featuring Carey.
