Once it speeds back up it ends strong but sitting through that Jambi section is rough. You initially hear the riff and think "oh, that's cool. sounds like Jambi with those pull-offs" then they stretch it out by having Danny play a small solo over it, then he plays a 4/4 beat over it, then Maynard sings over it then Jones solos over it.
Just make that a different song and be done with it.

Yeah chug, that's it for me. The mixing of the drums makes them sound cheap, especially the lower register. From 9:20 in the t/t for instance. Ouch!

Chug ily but repeatedly seeing your avi makes me nauseous :[ Eg and Trif are masters in this field, learn from their ways!

Remember Invincible being my least favourite by a good margin, time to see if this was unfair

Maybe it's the slightly bricked sound. Those toms sounds kinda compressed to me.

Yeah exactly. I'm not at home in this terminology at all but that doesn't mean I can't hear it. Truly bothers me, doesn't fit their sound at all and I cannot see how they thought this would be a good idea. It's just ugly.

the internet was a different place back the.
Chug is like the 30-year-old boomer yelling zoomers what life used to be like on the internet before everything went to shit

Wouldn't it be awesome to see a field full of those goats in a sea of clovers? I'd like to be there.

Tril the drums on 10,000 days have a very Danny sound to them.
A floaty, non-compressed sound that rings out. Organic.

The drum sound on this has always sounded very agressive.

9:35 when the 4/4 over the whatever/4 is playing just listen to how loud they mixed the snare.
It breaks through everything, particularly when Danny hits the snare and accents with a crash/hi-hat at once. The mix fills up pretty fast.

Agreed man, that sound suits them soo much better. Really bugs me, but it's a thing in most modern metal sadly. Sounds so plastic and hollow.

Oh man. This would be my reality if society wasn't so fascist. Why can't I have a flock of goats in my garden, oh noes the local regulatives bla bla

Sorry, where were we? Ah yes, this is a magnificent album. It's only good some people don't get it.

The dream Egarran. It can still help us to make us feel cozy and full of goodness just to think about it.

Also, this tweaking with knobs creates the drum problems https://youtu.be/WxOnpsuAsqw?t=134
