He's gotten a handful of 4.0+ from this year I think. Guy's got a certain taste.

And hey, if anything's getting above a 2, it's this here.

Not sure if The Daily Mosh sounds like my kind of scene, however.

Nah, just joking around with him, s’all good.

Got this album queued up on my iPod.

tl;dr is TDM used to be a downloads forum; got shut down because of DL strikes, got resurrected, and now is a forum for the old TDM community. DL’s still offered, just not as prevalent.

A very fine review for a very fine album. This is awesome.

Some of the best, cleanest melodies I've heard tbh

This was pretty close to a 4.5 on first listen. That might be the fastest I have downloaded on album after listening to it on bandcamp in quite some time.

Haha, you've been roped in! Have to say I hope physical releases are in the future, not much of a digital guy myself.

Yeah, this would have been great to have an actual copy of. I was looking around a bit before I got the digital, and the only one I could find physicals of was the previous album.

I'm guessing they plan on releasing this and then quietly backing out. Not sure if any members have future projects planned.

I asked the band via Facebook and they said that there were no physical copies being planned in the foreseeable future. i guess i am just going to have to fork it over for the Flac files form the record label -.-

I don't see how that's a problem though. FLAC is lossless and I love having my library on bandcamp. Especially if I lose some shit, I can always just redownload it.

Close to breaking my streak of 3.0 or less with this (or Cara Neir), wonder which one will ‘do the honours’.

I understand though, I get the impression they want to release this and then have their exit.

And Demon, I think you know which one I'd say!

I’m really bad at rating albums I actually like, think I’ve spun this 5 times now.

House of the Centenary is crushing. So melancholic, and yet beautiful.

A vinyl of this would be absolutely fabulous.

OK, so on an initial listen, this was interesting. If it was instrumentals alone I’d 5 this in a heartbeat. However, since I’m not used to black metal-style of vocals that was a speed bump in my overall enjoyment. I’m gonna hand out a cursory rating and listen to this tomorrow to see how solid my thoughts on this are.

The vocals here are killer, they've got a lot of passion. In terms of basic tonality they're pretty par for the course where this genre is concerned, but if you're not as experienced it can be a tad jarring.

Kinda like with first three albums-era Underoath. I’ma stick with it for another spin or two.
