Thank you very much. This is currently my Album of the Year as well, which I kind of predicted, but it still surprises me that something topped Joliette--which is not far behind and probably a 5 in its own right.



Still have Seizures coming around the corner in October, and if the singles are any indication, they're about to drop something incredible.

I'm about a hair away from bumping up my Luz Devora rating so it's a close race. Both are insanely passionate, both showcase a band's evolution and subsequent realization of potential... damn good music.

this is interesting so far. the production bothers me a bit tho. I like how individual instruments sound, but the overall mix feels weak and mushy at heavier sections. especially when there are vocals involved too, they get drowned out. then again, I'm listening to this on youtube lol

edit: HOLY FUCK it's ridiculous how much beefier and roomier it sounds on bandcamp haha, I take all that back

Listened again earlier, 3rd spin. Definitely enjoying it, just trying to work out where I stand. I currently feel like it’s an album of wonderful moments and ideas, but not sure it’s quite come together as a whole yet. I love their general sound though.
