Fucking love the Drones too, but TFS definitely go down their own technicolor panic attack rabbit hole. Feelin Kinda Free's the only Drones record that more than whispers in this direction

Who knows? Gaz sounds pretty like he's made a point of saying the Drones are not done (or of not saying The Drones are done?). I know the members are all still tight as Hell, just the direction they were moving it would probably have wound up sounding in this ball park anyway, and Erica's more jagged guitar lead style suits it a bit better than Lusky's more melodic playing, I feel like
