I wonder if it's for label/image reasons, but she's so behind on so many things.
ME! sounded like a panic! song, many fans think this album draws heavily from Lorde. Having 18 track albums to take advantage of streaming formats. "Embracing" the LGBT after being quiet about it for almost a decade - despite seeing basically all other pop stars do it so openly.
Nothing about this album is really a new direction, so to speak. 1989 was. Reputation was. Red wasn't but at least that one had bangers. Just overall disappointed.

That's not fair to say that about her blowjobs. The guy could have been real pushy to get one and she didn't care about him enough but just enough to attempt what he wanted.
