"Some of Swift's collaborators on her upcoming album include Jack Antonoff"

I have to confess I didn't read the full article. Antonoff is a "duh", BI is shocking, and Dessner is a pleasant surprise.

I hope this is her indie breakthrough much in the same way 1989 was her pop breakthrough. I'm expecting nothing less than harps, strings, flutes, and drums that could be described in a staff review as "earthy".

Then her next album can be her full indie-rock maturation, with screams, electric guitar solos, and lyrics about religion and death.

the archer & i think he knows are so overwhelmingly antonoff; they could 100% be bleachers songs if you swapped out the singer

one of these days i will get tired of the entire pop music industry becoming bleachers but friends, today is not that day and i do not think tomorrow will be either

Cautiously optimistic here. I love surprise releases, I love the album art, the genre/album title is promising, and the collabs look good. It’s still Taylor swift, so I’ll probably be disappointed, but it all looks promising
