Jared pls review, Sput needs to know we aren’t all wrong about this. Even if you don’t know much about the genre, you can simply explain why you like it so much. I’d certainly be interested :]

BTW halo themed lyrics never made them "aliencore". You need the sound for that too, and theirs was always more symphonic than electronic leaning. They're like a more mature and less tryhardish Ovid's Withering with better songwriting, basically

There are no wrong answers, but there sure are some stupid ones.

I dunno about that one chief

Album is pretty solid but ultimately sterile, which makes some emotional passages needless, and even cringy at times. Hath> (f.e.)

'Album comes out, guy writes a 5/5 review: Average rating - 4.4
Another guy writes a 3/5 review: The average mark among those who rated the album the
same day (August 19th) - 3.4
What's the point of having a rating system if people will just replicate the rating
of the frontpage review anyway?'
No actually, it's an average of 3.78 random sound-off guy, also out of a total of 30 ratings for that date only 7 were at exactly 3/5 - but sure, everyone is just copying this new staff review. I love it when you can easily debunk these 'theories'.

Hum I'm on Be'lakor now and I'm considering to replicate this review's rate on which I agree much more.
That's what I meant Imperial x)

“because this is probably the best deathcore album of the last 5 years or so, and maybe even of the decade.”

Vocals alone drag Exoplanet a fair bit below this imo.

"Oh, but it is..."
Hell no Demon!
I see no prog elements here and IMHO vocals are way better in Exoplanet. If we could rate in decimals, Exoplanet would be a 4.6 and this a 3.8 (for me obviously)
Plus, they're 2 different beasts, I don't see how could they resemble each other... And yet I see lots of people comparing them, someone please enlighten me on that.

Anything's better than Exoplanet, Discovery, or Colors, to be honest.
