It's a punk album Zorg....

I can overlook politics in a good album, but it’s true that they inevitably make shit albums even worse. It’s like you’re tormenting me with your shitty songcraft plus I have to hear your opinion on things I don’t care about and it makes it clear that you think this garbage you put out is somehow profound and vital

Alright you brilliant mind you, I added the word "politics" to my review. Does that make you feel better or do you need a nappy, prune juice, and some I Love Lucy?

The album is explicitly political and it's an oversight to not address that in the review. The album is trying to convey something in the time of darkness brought upon us by he who shall not be named. Also
"She, she, she stood up for us
When she testified
Me, me too
My body cried out when she spoke those lines"
Oh dear, I'm crying but it's tears of laughter boyos. I wrote a review for One Beat maybe 10 years ago, I gave it a 5/5 for their bravery of releasing such an album so close to 9/11. This here is a far cry from that. Then again, neocon imperialism is an easier target.

Listen Zorg, I'd love to rewrite this for you, but I'm already moving on from this album and it's been out for like 10 hours. I'm a bullet train, baby.
I'm sure your credentials as a 2000s-era SK fan precede you, but I don't really care if this album is "political" or not. It sucks massively and that's all there is to it for me.

Seriously, the music supports the 1 on its own
|

You told me to "shut up", I have no real issue with your review or rating at all. I'm moving on. Probably going to trash Talk Talk or something. Later.

"the music supports the 1 on its own"
Absolutely. This could've been about anything and that big red 1.0 would still be there, so I don't see the point in making an already full diaper of a review any more full.
"I have no real issue with your review or rating at all"
Good, now get those pants off cause it's time for the orgy.

I don't think I've heard the name Trash Talk in about 10 years.
Also, Trash Talk Talk Talk, take a walk cause I balk at stuff like that.
Danke schon, bud.

I refuse to believe this is that bad when Hurry On Home is a jam
|
| |
I refuse to believe that this band actually released a bad album and am therefore afraid to listen to it
Also, I'm pretty sure 'spared' is spelled with one 'r'
|
| |
the album indeed does try to address some politics. another hollow fuck this shit from people who've nothing much to say about anything. definitely worth a mention, yea.

Hurry On Home is the best song on this to me, still not a very good song by SK standards.
Some people are liking this, I'd say try it out.
Also whoops, thanks for that catch Pajolero. Bet you guys voting this as a well-written review feel foolish now. (:
Well if you think S-K have nothing to say about politics, then you really don't want to hear my fatass talk about it, now do you?

What's so bad about being political?
Listening now and 5 songs in, it's really good.
