This is good, pretty much in line with their last few albums, which is fine. Any fans who slept on their acoustic release last year needs to hear it.

Observer, I liked the acoustic EP too and am always surprised at its low rating here

some of the guitars in "Daggers" remind me of Iron Maiden, haha

Fuck me sideways, completely forgot about this band

Sonically this definitely is reminiscent of the Exile / AAP days, not quite as good in terms of memorable songs, but still pretty awesome.

everyone should be checking out exile in oblivion if they haven’t already
perfect summer punk album

Agree it could use a remaster, but damn good album.

Revisiting it now, I can definitely hear the similarities

Ive always been partial to Agents. So many killer tracks on that one. And Chan, likewise. That art cover is a turn off but the acoustic sound is really great in their hands.

Exile came out on my birthday in 2004. That was a nice year

Cover art is gorgeous.

album sounds very good, but you can tell age is taking a toll on the vocalist and he has lost some of the edge and intensity he had, even compared to the last album. the instrumentals on here are awesome though, not many big bands are into this sound anymore so it's good to hear

one my all time fav bands but thought this kinda sucked on first few spins

Not better than T.A.D or Agents but I still fuck with it.

listened to a couple tracks off this and they were great (especially ulysses, which was straight up off of twisted/exile songwriting wise) although yeah the vocals are definitely a bit tame

Ulysses really should have been the closer to this album. The order and sequencing of these songs is really the only problem with this album. That closer just doesn’t do it

Interesting it's down to 3.7 average putting it only above Another Day in Paradise. I'm not suggesting it should be higher as TBD, STWB and EIO are definitely well above in the 4+ range but I'm enjoying it slightly more than Transmission Alpha Delta. Definitely after more listens agreeing the closing song while not bad is the most underwhelming closer off any Strung Out album.
