There's something special about this album that other projects in it's peer group don't seem to have. A salience of some sort that I can't put my finger on.

definitely one of my favorite BM albums. there are a few moments that keep this from being an absolutely out of this world perfect record, but I wouldn't place many black metal releases aheady of this. a one of a kind listening experience

Well men I've been struggling with this album for over a decade. Tried several times and it never clicked. But fuck was I wrong. Idk what happened but this sounds so damn good to me now. I think I finally appreciate it for what it is.
