yeah i think the lyrics are more complimentary on California Girls, but i 100% understand how some lyrics come off like that especially on LP: Part One. i used to hate it, but it reads more as masking emotions and instability, rather than teenage angst like i used to think. maybe that's just me but ¯_(ツ)_/¯ anyways, what would you rate them out of 100 if you could? hahah i'm always curious to see ratings for Peep's projects good or bad because they give me a bigger perspective.

Straight up musically/stylistically I'd put those projects in the 60-70 range. Peep's content just doesn't resonate with me. I watched a couple little documentaries about his life/career and I see it more as cautionary tale than celebration of a tortured artist.

i agree completely, that's why i personally believe is why i have such a different perception of his music than a lot of others (especially on here) that see it more as a character glorification, rather than a teenager desperately crying for help. gonna be talking about that in my Hellboy review, though that 72 hour mark i set for myself might have to be reset if i wanna do that project justice lol

just now realizing how amazing this cover art actually is, woulda fit the sound of a couple other of his releases more than this one, "vertigo" and "teen romance" specifically come to mind
