This album just continues to grow for me. Idk if it’s because I can connect with a lot of the lyrics or what, but it just keeps getting better.

It strikes me that most cuts here are internally monotonous. I'll like the first forty-five seconds or so, but then it repeats over and over like that friend who plays a single track on repeat for an hour. If each song finished at 1:30 instead, I would love them. Starting Over / Slow Down is an exception, though.

eh dont see it

the more repetitive ones either change up towards the end or are short

blind ambition violent red and way down might have gotten old further down had they not literally been verse chorus verse chorus done which is the perfect length for them, or you got virginia and mother nature which in their back half kick into something else entirely. it is real is the only song that gets monotonous to me (i could see that argument maybe also working against bring me back to life but the lushness of the production and strength of the vocal melody more than make up for it for me)

with time this has only grown more and more on me ngl may end up my aoty depending on how well the menzingers album turn out

i don't know if this is the place to point this out but damn "Don't Take the Money" by Bleachers and "No One's Gonna Need You More" are basically the same song eh?
