oh yeah, no doubt. there's a really ominous feeling hanging over this record that kinda forgives the unfinished nature. far from my favorite cave in album, but i at least like it more than white silence

'what is a live set from these dudes even gonna consist of? Do they still play stuff from every album?'

Well they didnt play at all for a few years of course but They mix it up. Generally only and MAYBE 'Jugganaut' or 'Moral eclipse' off UYH, Then a mix of everything although only really 'Big riff' off 'Jupiter' too. Started playing 'New moon' also but I dunno of they were strictly for the Caleb shows.

This was last time they played London

my bad alex I didn’t think you’d forget half of the tracks on that album and half of Until and ‘Seafrost’. Prog rock married post hardcore long ago bud you gotta deal with. It can’t be all like the Rushes and King Crimsons.

Alright you're starting to lose me here throwing Until out there.

Only thing in their entire catalog with a prog rock tag on rym is a disputed secondary for jupiter, which idk sounds about right to me

well obviously it’s not a primary but I thought you knew that. sounded more like you were ignoring the obvious prog rock influenced scattered even on their metalcore material. why do you think Until blew the fuck up back then??

I mean yeah I can acknowledge the influence on some of the earlier material... but it's not anywhere near prevalent enough in their music to warrant a genre tag on sputnikmusic.com which was my initial point.

Metalcore/alt rock is perfect for them, not sure they need a third tag at all

def some prog or psychedelic vibes at least on Tides of Tomorrow and Jupiter. but more importantly: genre tags are stupid and who cares if the music is good

Yeah Jupiter is proggy core/metal. The EPS are arguable the most proggy. But theyve always been pretty progressive in comparison to bands around them from that scene especially.

You can be progressive and not be fking Magma but yeah...whatever
