Closer was maybe worth a spin but you’re not missing too much stopping there

Checking live performances of these songs, and damn... what this could have been.

So, this was produced by the same guy who did Interpol's Marauder, it all makes sense now.

Ugh this makes me so angry, most of the songs are absolutely brilliant, but that fucking horrible production. Fuck you, Dave Friddman.

I just don’t blindly like the latest release by a band I like is all

I liked Purple which people weren’t so keen on for a start.

I have one 5 rating and seven 4.5 ratings so far in 2019 - I like more stuff than most, if anything I’m a bit too generous with the ratings :/

This is the Baroness album with three ballads in a row - one sounds like it was written for One Direction, one by The National and one penned by Creed.

This was prob never going to be my favourite, dumbest direction for this band I ever could have imagined tbh

The new Bill Callahan - indie folk, guessing not your favourite genre? But he's up there as one of the best of his generation along with Bonnie Prince Billy/Will Oldham and Mark Kozelek.

He's as close as you get to a 'new Leonard Cohen' I guess

I do Indie Folk bro, X) specially if its any good. Maybe not as much proactively as metal. I feel sorry (or not) its not translated on the piechart. Cohen is v cool!
