i don't enjoy the slow jams on this as much as i did on "emotion," but then again, those took a bit to grow on me so maybe these will too.

All That and Gimmie Love in particular took a few years to grow on me and now they are definitely towards the top of Emotion for me.

A few tedious points on the record but that does not take away from all of the highs this album offers. Carly doesn't seem to stray away from the formula of writing cheesy love songs, but it still works. I personally love the singles, Everything He Needs, Real Love, and Automatically In Love. Not too huge on I'll Be Your Girl and For Sure, but they feel like they might be growers potentially.



CRJ is an elite pop musician - her ability to create nostalgic and reminiscent music similar to the likes of Madonna makes me feel warm.

Oof, there are some good songs here for sure, but the back half of this is a slog to get through. I loved Emotion, but this is so samey and boring.

Surprised by how good of a reception this is getting.

I feel like the last album had a lot more emotional impact, and was less juvenile overall.

Or maybe I'm just not as receptive to this type of thing now. It's still a nice, breezy time.

love that song. it is, interestingly, I think....maybe I"m wrong but I think it's the only song that shares a producer/set of producers with the EMOTION album. they also produced the song "emotion". I probably pay too much attention to that stuff but yeah it's cool that she copped harry nilsson and it sounds gr8 to me

Just doesn't do it for me, chorus doesn't achieve liftoff for me
