Dark Side has an appealing atmosphere but that is all - it was the low point of the set when I watched it performed live, despite having a guest singer present.



I said in the list it is close to 'cutesy' for the band and as you say, the chords and key change are standard/lazy



I still struggle most with the stretch of songs from 5-8 on SWB

Trouble is an ok record, there are a few good songs on it, but it isn't all that. SWB has only one track that I really like, the opener is pretty good.

I struggle with the whole album, to be honest. It's such a bloody frustrating listen.

If these last two any albums are any indication of what's to come from the boys, I think they should just stop. It's hilarious Beast took em four years to make, considering how terrible it was.

@demon I didn't think doof could see that much of a grey area. you know he has an excel spreadsheet rating every song on here to three decimal points and ranking them against every other album released in 2019. carries a dossier with his National ranking to work every day too

Is it wrong that I really want to see this Powerpoint presentation? I think you should create one Doof, then live stream it (with commentary) over the internet. You will also need to provide a messaging service so we can do a 'questions and answers' round afterwards, or perhaps you can just start a list/article on Sputnikmusic.com. I'm especially looking forward to the line graphs, pie charts and detailed but balanced analysis of the 'benefits and limitations' in assigning scores to individual tracks using Natty's discog as a template.
