Kind of missing the point there.

They followed trends in the underground to make it big.

Commercialized depression packed pretty for the youth and stunted 90s adults to pretend their lives are awful.

Prob bought this shit at a Kmart πŸ˜”

this is a thoughtful, well-reasoned, spot-on, 100% accurate description of Nirvana. love your work man, keep it comin

This album, overall, isn't depressing though - the fact this thing is so warm is one of the great wonders

Apart from the first two tracks I kinda agree

Nutshell is one of the most depressing songs ever imo doof

it's a depressing song but the instrumentation on that and Rotten Apples is too warm for it to ever be a cold tune

ok, the album definitely gets cheerier as it progresses, but there's a warm tone to the sound throughout for me

for example, 'Heaven Beside You' from the s/t is chilly throughout - depressing song, cold feel

These dudes made hair metal and people still think they're the real deal.

Repent, you druggies.

Okay I'm back you fools are beyond saving.

Not getting how that description doesn't apply to AiC. Are they not considered major-label trend-riding hair-metal-esque sellouts? News to me.

Also, grunge doesn't deserve flannel as a genre-defining clothing. I don't want my cozy flannel tainted by connotations with shit music.

Ah yes the sellouts that made increasingly inaccessible music as their career went along
