i think they did state on their facebook at one point that they're not financially stable enough to be able to release full albums and wanna just do only EPs after this

Of course, but this band should have pretty major brand recognition imo... It's an utter failure of marketing. The Afterimage was a prominent underground band that had a core audience, but your average Joe has no idea about this release, they just think the band disappeared. This album might as well get tied to some helium balloons and float off into space. Which is a damn shame cause it happens to shred.

And Steak, do you have any insight on the Novelists situation? I think they have more brand-name recognition, but I have to imagine their sales tanked hard on the last album. I know people that were already tired of that album weeks before it officially came out...

Okay so I'm not sure how I missed out on the fact that Brand of Sacrifice has essentially the same lineup as The Afterimage. I've heard of and listened to both bands but I suppose I just didn't make the connection. Either way, this band goes hard and I'll definitely make a point to check this

Nah art I tried to look for numbers but no dice, I remember when it dropped tho the week after it was officially out Novelists posted on their social medias that it was their biggest release by far and sold more total copies than Souvenirs did already lol
