I was also not aware of any allegations, so I looked it up. The only info about it is on a Reddit post linking to a Twitter thread that has been deleted. The thread in question seems to simply allege that a bunch of variously famous men are sexually misbehaving, but it all seemed rather flimsy. Not sure what to think of it, but it's just one thread that threw shade at a number of people at once with peripheral evidence. For Hansard's story, in the comments on Reddit folks are saying that he has "opey admitted" sth or that is is sort of known, but again, I couldn't find much.

So apparently what people are icky about is that fact that Hansard, then 36, was in a relationship with the 18 year old Markéta Irglová, with whom he still maintains a friendship and makes music. She was even in that famous film of his. There have been rumours that Hansard hasn't really done a good job disproving that they have known each other for a longer time, effectively making Hansard in a relationship with a minor, or at least entering a relationship with somebody he knew since she was a minor.

I mean, it's sketchy for sure, but also sth he has been commenting on and beating over his head for ages now. Considering him and Marketa are still on good terms and are getting along famously, and no bullshit like this repeated with him ever again, I'd say the creepiness of it has long passed its stature of limitations.
