Misha's Bulb projects were SICK, personally I think they'd go without a hitch if Mark were to exit, sure maybe less dweedly noodly riffs but... I will personally live, seems that's not the case for you guys tho

Oh I definitely would live... would love to hear bulb/P1 type stuff with current Spencer and Nolly production.

Tbh a lot of Mark riffs are superrrrr similar if you listen to the band enough. Like Sentient Glow and Pale Aura are super similar... it’s only smiles is like a slower version of Scarlet... like his style is super unique but I feel like he has a hard time writing riffs outside of that style. Misha is way more versatile imo as a writer

Hell yeah, I was just listening to some old Bulb tracks and... I am a huge fan of that style... I really do wish Periphery would use that more often, and with Spencer and Nolly's production... I would love it

"Mark is clearly the most distinctive and forceful writer of the three"

Personally I don't think the most "distinctive" writer necessarily means the best, I love Misha's groove djent riffs, I mean, the main riff in Stranger Things is just a simple Djent riff, but it's one of my favorite Periphery riffs ever

"Btw has anyone seen the band play since Mark left the tour? I was gonna get tickets for the upcoming silver spring show but idk now"

They played their set without a hitch from what I saw in vids, also Plini AND Jakub Zytecki showed up during the solo section of Reptile during every show on the tour

So the rumor is that Mark did something that made this girl uncomfortable and that's why he left tour?

Unless there's something more than an ambiguous tweet I'm not getting sucked into that bullshit.

its all completely circumstantial evidence but mark has left the tours (including the upcoming one with covet) for family reasons while jeff stays on, yvette and mark not following each other on insta, and that youtube video of them teaching each other riffs being unlisted for some reason.

Not gonna wade into whatever hot drama this is, but Yvette Young generally is 1000x cooler than this band on all of the levels

Mark is fucking garbage so maybe this band will actually make something worth listening to again if he is out.
