I disagree, I actually think the length is perfect on here.

Okay, so I've never listened to Devin outside of CoC and SYL, both of which I enjoyed. But this... this is...
Is it okay to hate this?

in all seriousness though, if you're not familiar with the rest of Devin's discog, then there's no way you'll enjoy this

Like, I'm finding sections of this I really like. And then poof! They're gone. Like, nooooo come back -- what's with all these bird noises?
Edit: Yeah, Hear Me is dope.

This had some neat ideas... that were completely overshadowed by distracting shite. Animal noises, annoying choirs, and Disney sounding symphonics. This thing is really just too much most of the time.

I’m only familiar with Ocean Machine and Addicted but I love what I’ve heard from this so far. This sounds like Metal Eurovision or some shit and it’s kinda brilliant.

If you come into this record expecting 10 separate songs with individual concise statements, you're gonna hate it. Look into what the artist is trying to achieve with the album and judge it on those terms. It's not that difficult.

I mean, I get it, that's why I'm not gonna troll rate it a 1 or a 2. It's just not my cup o tea ¯_(ツ)_/¯
