I am with you budg, I do like these 2 over other Maiden, although it is nothing against the Dickenson Maiden, they are just different, Di'anno's Maiden is a bar band, Dickenson's is an arena band

yeah the gritty, punk attitude on the first two is magical to me. dickinson rules but the operatic arena sound has never been my thing

i absolutely love the rawness and grit that Di'Anno brought, 2 hard 5's
but with that, Bruce Dickinson's Iron Maiden is the greatest heavy metal band of all time in my opinion
