Really bad at detecting tone over the internet, but yeah honestly this and Whitechapel both being really well received is pretty cool

All this talk of "proper deathcore" makes me miss The Red Chord.

Come back The Red Chord. Please. We miss you.

I wasn't sure what to make of this on first attempt, but on the second the 'Uterine Industrialization/Self Inflicted Violence' combo stood out as being a good time... it seems a little more varied than I'd thought initially. Interesting.

Okay just now finding out the vocalist is a female, does one of the guitarists do vocals as well? I just can’t imagine some of these vocals coming from a woman

Either way this thing fucking shreds, and the vocals across the board are amazing

There seems to be both male & female vox, although I may be mistaken.

That’s what I thought after I found out the girl was the lead vocalist. There are other moments for sure but there’s just no way she’s the only vocalist on Self Inflicted Violence.

I like this in small doses, but I just find this sort of thing tiresome after a while... one of those albums that’s actually less than the sum of it’s parts. I feel like an effort was made to break it up a little and it succeeds at doing so, at least in part.

Saw them live a year or two ago and at the time the lady was the only one doing vocals but I can't speak on this. Definitely going to check though. I forgot their name by the time the show was over but I was real impressed with them

That set they did for Kerrang was rad. As far as I can tell she was the only one doing vocals.
