a 3 is probably too generous for this, but only a couple moments stood out as truly bad on my first couple spins. plus high as a kite is a legit highlight
I'll probably give it another listen tomorrow and see if it sticks

Album is pretty enjoyable when taken in a vacuum. Can't Knock the Hustle is a straight jam. Zombie Bastards and Just Being Honest are, not only catchy AF, but a lot of fun too.
An enjoyable album – especially the first half. Def not particularly deep.

I'm diggin it - stop hating.
Real talk, I read that White, Pacific Daydream, and Black are a Cali trilogy of sorts. I love when albums are connected to each other, so this excites me

They’re kinda overrated outside of Pinkerton. That album is awesome.

no that came from a true forward-thinking visionary - Dustin Kensrue from Thrice in that song bout doublespeak and shit. keep your Orwells imo

Weezer are many many many things but overrated is not in any way one of them

How is their first album in particular not though? I wasn’t talking anything post Pinkerton. I genuinely wanna hear that argument from what seems like a huge fan of Weezer.

They're pretty universally mocked and hated since Make Believe
