I actually don’t think I’ve heard all the original versions lol. Was just surprised how good it was. Nails the atmosphere with the acoustic setting In some surprisingly colorful ways. A lot of the piano work is fantastic and the guitar intro on I Will Fail You is basically neofolk. Just feels more powerful to me than their other stuff I’ve heard despite being more minimalistic. Beautifully orchestrated
