Yep, respun this myself a few days ago to remember whay it feels like when one of your favourite bands don't disappoint (*ahem the national). It's still magical.

Had to finally 5 it. It’s the only album this year that deserves it so far.

yeah been at 3.8 for a while. I think it's just because this got more attention. attention + hype = anti-hype (which their previous albums never had to deal with)

That’s just wild. I was listening to The Appleseed Cast earlier and Mare Vitalis was #86 for 2000 with a 4.1. I can’t even think of anything this year rated a four. Really trolls have done that much? It’s hard to prescribe to the idea that people here really think music was that much better “back in the day”.
