caroline polachek is the former lead singer of the indie pop band chairlift who's almost certainly now more popular than chairlift ever were, or at least among the people I hang out with. she, a PC Music/A.G. Cook-adjacent artist, has this weird voice that to me approximates the sound of auto-tune with crazy melisma, the ability to slide quickly between notes in a complex way, and young thug has sort of a similar thing going on but obviously with auto-tune (but obviously also doing stuff with his "natural" voice, thru autotune, it's not like everyone who sings with autotune sounds like YT)
dont really matter tho im just havin fun. check out chairlift's live radio cover of beyonce's "Party" for a crazy example of what her voice sounds like
