Perhaps you'd prefer some space Gavin Darklighter!

I wish the vocals were better. Everything else is excellent.

Euphoric is the best word to describe this. Definitely wouldn't hurt to have a little more variation, even an interlude or something to separate things, give the listener a breather, but it's a small criticism.

I agree and disagree with that... I feel it was meant to be more forward with it's sound. I am really loving this

Hate the production for this so much. The songs are already samey and them being washed out makes it even harder to distinguish individual elements

Idk I think the production is spot on honestly.

The production here is absolutely what is required for their sound. Air was raw as heck and it just didn't sit with the crystal clean vocals. It's a pity that from a few cursory listens the songwriting seems to have taken such a big hit

I wish the vocals didn't have so many effects put on them.

Was already a fan of this band upon hearing the album's first two tracks, which are absolutely gorgeous. I appreciate the seamless fusion of Addicted-era DTP and VOLA's infectious hooks, but there's something about this band that elevates both of these styles.

On another note, it's a shame Bloodmusic isn't taking on any other bands but the label has a lot of quality to be proud of in my opinion.

Dream in Lines is the weakest song they've ever written tbh

You do some meth before you posted bro????

Also wouldn’t say that this “crushes” Air by any means but I would say it’s a bit better and more balanced overall imo.

Album is heavenly and has restored my faith in both shoegaze and metal.

aside from fault, there isn't really a single track on this album that has a riff that doesn't rely on I, V, and the octave. furthermore, a decent amount of the tracklist doesn't have riffs developed beyond following whatever the kick drum might be doing. the drumming feels like the driving force of the record which is fine, but I honestly feel like if you remove the drumming and a handful of cool leads here and there, there's no hooks to latch onto at all. vocals feel too freeform for them to really have a chance to soar afaic. feels like feel-good triumph chord progressions jacked to oblivion by some stellar kit work but idk if that's enough to make this an interesting listen

just jammed both albums back to front and jammed the singles alternating between the two records and its actually alarming how few interesting moments there are on here that couldn't be interchanged with near-synonymous moments from other tracks. idk man :///
