i would say a good comparison would be grocery shopping; a regular person would go to the store and buy their vegetables, fruits, meats, etc. this review is basically the equivalent of that person going to the grocery store on a mixture of acid and heroin, so when they got to the register all they had in their cart was a jug of food grade polypropylene glycol and 4 lbs of raw horseradish

As someone who has dabbled in electronic music production I think you’re being a little hard on this on that front. But yeah this isn’t good and I miss their old shit no matter how many people make fun of it. It was wasn’t trve kvlt metal but it was good at what it set out to do.

There's always other bands who are still making that kind of metalcore Aubergine. I'd say Architects have been taking from the There Is a Hell/Sempiternal playbook and running with it ever since Daybreaker.
