FOREVER'S GONNA START TONIGHT

that sucks though, although I'd probs associate it with more with that state than dozing off. some albums are weirdly great for actually sleeping lol, might make a list

Just finished 'Second Body'. Was afraid the faster, dancier tempos would be off-putting and I wasn't digging two of the three singles released beforehand (coincidentally, I still think those two are the weakest tracks on the album ('Someone to Serve' and 'Been a Little While'), but I was won over by the end. The two opening tracks are really nice ('Dream Steppin' and 'Loud'), of course 'A Taste' is magical, and I love the two closing tracks as well, especially 'Under the Hood'.

I still greatly prefer their debut, but I was expecting a much more disappointing affair after hearing the new singles. I should've had more faith.

There's only a couple of tracks I'm still warming up to, but yeah, loving the new one. Favorites still being A Taste and Someone to serve. Second track is also really good.

new one is goooood. I'm not a huge fan of Dream Steppin', but the album quickly finds its footing after that. The run from Someone to Serve through A Taste is stellar. It's definitely a tinge brighter than the dark moody vibes of First Body, but I'm still getting lost in how good these grooves are

There's a couple songs I didn't love, but probably need to just hear again. Overall, pretty solid. probably a light 4.

I'm still waiting for the Bandcamp release, so I can listen to it properly on my player for the first experience. Based on the comments, it'll be a 4.5 for me. I have nothing agains good pop, but I do prefer the darker and moodier atmosphere.

It doesn't have that dark atmosphere of this one, but it definitely has its own thing going on.

Breaking the Silence and A Taste are berry, berry good

there are poppy moments but there's still plenty of atmosphere, even if it's a bit more 'hazy summer day' and less 'neon city after midnight'
