before i wiped my ratings a couple of years ago my chart was a whole lot of metalcore. i’m snobby about it tho few things can ever actually touch botch / knut / cave in etc for me

Ah, a classic man. Well it's hard to find anything as good/better if you hold those so highly since expectations will never be met. If you're willing to branch out, the modern era is pretty damn incredible. Obviously there's this and Rolo Tomassi, but there are more out there. Seizures are a great old-school-style group if you haven't check them yet.
