feels like a more somber extension of SRS, but idk, some of these tracks are pretty uneventful

that sometimes feels like the point to me, especially when he cuts a song so short there's basically no room to breathe on it, but yeah I find myself bored by MTOMB and 4N anyway

yea you're probably right. It took me several listens to start to warm up to SRS, i'm sure this'll be similar. so far i really like 74 and el toro.

OD might hit the hardest but TISK TISK / COOKIES is absolutely top tier Earl musically, his beats have come so far

I find it funny how out of all the songs to drop a video for, he chose fucking East lol.

i would be into more shit like 74. it's a nice marriage of SRS and i don't like shit... formula of the former meets aesthetic of the latter

74 is great for sure man. Prob my fav next to El Toro and Cookies. Earl just sounds so in his element, its insane. Production is tops too.

Also, I don't think 4N is as bad as ppl are making it out to be

New EP is decent/good, but feels like SRS b-sides/runoff. Earl himself said he was excited about being able to take bigger risks and branch out a bit more without the constraints of a label but I don't see it here. At least not yet. COOKIES is awesome but of the other six tracks, none of them rivals the best stuff on SRS imo.

This album’s growing on me. You have to be in the right spot in your life to enjoy this I feel. I’d been struggling a lot with anxiety in the past year, and listening to this album felt like it was creating this negative energy inside me. If you are in an emotionally vulnerable state this can have a pretty heavy effect on your mood.

It’s weird and unfortunate how that works sometimes. There are albums i love that i cant spin because theyll just make me sad
