The main problem with this record is that every song is almost exactly the same, and I only find Doomsday to be properly engaging

I wish Sam would not put distortion over his high cleans constantly, it gets really tiring after 3 choruses

Which is why it's kind of ticking me off that they didn't leave open more of the songs to showcase all the other musicians in the band. They're people too, it shouldn't just be the Sam Carter show. lol and the opener is the greatest offender in that category. Great song, but it was actually possible to cut it down to two choruses without changing anything else instrumentally.

The title track is so fucking bad man. I'm 4 songs in and already tired of this record... The ' epic ' strings and constant BPM really don't help. The lyrics might be deep but man the songs really don't convey these emotions in the slightest.

Yup, its fun af.. Been listening to the album again, everyday after work pretty much. It rips but Seventh Circle gets me extra pumped
