For a band that came and went in the late 60's I must say this one hell of a album. What a great noisy throbbing rendition of psychedelic blues type of rock n roll of course their version of summertime blues is always classic including other tunes like out of focus and parchment farm as well.

"Summertime Blues" is a jam. I'll check the rest of the album later.
"Ticket to Ride" on Vanilla Fudge's debut is sweet too. That album needs a review hard.

Giving this a hard jam. Definitely has a simplistic, bluesy structure.
Listening to these guys makes me realize all the more how relevant Sabbath was. They took the influence from these guys, VF, and other bands of the time, and just pushed things all the way to the next level.

These guys must've influenced punk as well.
Black Sabbath definitely achieved one of the biggest leaps in the history of rock music.
