"I don't even really like a celebration of guilt tbh"
If you were in my house, I would say "Leave my house."
But for real, first album is a hard 5 imo

To be fair it's been awhile since I've listened

Give it a rest

I haven't listened to it, but I know it's better than a 1.5 and no higher than a 3.5

The album is quite generic and uninteresting
Nice review

Good review, didn't know this was out.
Can't say I'm waiting for this to blow me away, but I'll still give this album a spin tonight.

Passable with solid instrumentation work and some fun moments here and there but nothing very noteworthy.

is this Isis for my arse

Okay just listened to a track "Hell Sworn", is nobody going to mention the completely different vocal style on this? It doesn't sound anything like James Malone of yesteryear, I remember hearing a few tracks off of Unwelcome and thought yep that's Arsis, but this is almost unrecognizable

| |
These guys have always bored me but I’ll give this a shot I guess
|
| |
Remember when this band was sweet?
|
| |
Back when I was in high school, yea
|
| |
This reminds me of the new Revocation release - instrumentally blistering but uninspired from a songwriting perspective
|
| |
This doesn't sound anything like Revocation lol???
Agreed with the comment about the vocals though, vocals sound pretty strange and unrecognizable here compared to the band's previous works. What happened?
|
| |
It doesn't have to sound like Revocation to make one think of another band that has similar attributes.
Too bad Ellis is clearly technically talented but unable to make anything I want to listen to, which includes TBDM
|
| |
New Revocation is better than this
