This is probably my favorite Metallica album. The only thing stopping this record from being a perfect 5 is the length of the longest songs. And Justice for All and To Live is to Die are a bit too long and drag on for a few minutes more than I can handle.



Other than that, wicked album.

lars would play st anger TRUE double bass

in a drumming competition, at lest meg could probably pull off a classy minimalist solo, where as lars would just obnoxiously throw in as much snare and sloppy double bass as possible. however lars was definitely in his prime on this album.

Can't really decide if my favorite Metallica album is this or Ride the Lightning. But both albums rock!
