Savages was also a good album. But honestly the last 2 songs on Dark Ages blew me away, just a 20 minute emotional rollercoaster man... the best work they ever did. The first 2 Cavalera Conspiracy records are also classic.

Also, I think this band is slightly underrated. They get way too much criticism for a few flaws and too little praise for a lot of qualities. I'm not a huge fan and I can find Max Cavalera's voice irritating after 20minutes but when i see a new Soulfly album is coming, I'm happy.

I remember I first heard soulfly in walmart when I was like 12 and they were playing one of their music videos on all of the TVs. I think it was Prophecy, I remember being like that shit's crazy but I like it lol. This new album is some of the best material they have ever put out. "Under Rapture" is soooo goood.

Yes and no. I remember “Eye for an Eye” as my first Soulfly track and thought it was cliche predictable etc etc. it wasn’t until the 4-5th listen that it just turned into a
‘Fun’ listen.
